For years Real Digital Records was a great supporter of the Eurofestival.

Oue CEO as a DJ even played some of the songs in nightclubs.
As for our Festival, like any Portuguese, we always had criticisms and RealDigital Records also gave collaboration as composers (never accepted) and normally we never missed one so we could finally understand what led the national juries and the public to choose this or that music.

Never managed to understand the logarithm of the choice and the proof is that in more than 40 years we have only managed to win once, with a jazz-inspired song, that would not have great affinities with the said competition.

It worked and it was worth taking first place.
Real Digital still collaborated on the ideology of some things composed by others that were accepted and even represented the country, but nothing that achieved a prominent place.
We were some of those who always fought for singing in English or mixing languages, not influenced by José Cid, but more by Falco and other Germans and I still saw these ideas put into practice and published on record.

In music, when you work behind the stage, sometimes you don't gain the desired popularity and that's why many don't know what this, or that, did to make a record reach the public.

A few Song Festivals ago, RealDigital Records decided to compose a collection of songs (about twelve) for the event and of course the competition is great and the material presented was sung by the A.I. group"Tecnocratas" with those synthesized voices with vocoders and lyrics in Spanish and English (the softwares still doesn't sing in Portuguese).
I knew it was unlikely any song would be accepted, but I we tried.
Tecnocratas ended up releasing some songs that had a lot of airplay on online radio and streaming channels and in other songs was changed the lyrics because they had lost their relevance, there were still those that went on to other projects, from which today we highlight Ayamonte and " Noches Sin Dormir"... They first single.
Wouldn't it have had a chance of being successful at Eurovision? We will never know!
We know that the streaming numbers has increased, specially in Spain.

Since then we have recorded more two singles, on Reggaeton and R&B.

The group has tried again to feature in the Song Festival RTP 2024, we will see it this time they have the luck!
