How was "Einbahn" born?
If some people travel to Germany, Austria or Switzerland, where German is spoken, they will certainly find a traffic sign different from ours with the name EinBahn. For those who know a little about driving and signs, you will certainly know that the sign is identical to the "One Way" sign in the USA and that it means one way.

But in these countries, signage is abused and on a simple walk you see dozens of signs.

That's why some tourists who don't know the meaning end up asking where "Einbahn" is?
There are those who have fun saying to follow the arrow.
And with this story, upon arrival in Vienna, our producer was looking for a way to attend a sound course in the world capital of classical music.
As a DJ he worked at several clubs at the time but ended up returning to Portugal, with the idea of making a fun song about "Einbahn".
When he recorded 2Risky, he even tried to adapt one of those songs to lyrics, in German, but the idea was left aside.

For more than 30 years the idea was frozen until one day for an instrumental song "Munich Funk Train" inspired by travelling through these three countries and on Hugh Masekela, South African trumpeter, and the rhythmic basis of Giorgio Moroder's Munich Machine, the project was named "Einbahn".

At the beginning of the Ukrainian War, supporting the directives against Russia by the international community that was blocking the use of SWIFT by the invading country, a song was composed and included in the Einbahn repertoire.
"Dance to the Swift" had a single version and a long version...
It didn't achieve the desired success, but it kept the project alive.
The third single is, this time with the title "Einbahn" saved for over 30 years, not using anything from the past, but with a fresh composition with the date 2023.

This time, with lyrics in German, maintaining a very unique sound and a good groove. Cool  and Jazzy.
The group will always present evolution from song to song, never in one direction! No Einbahn!
