Shawn Cabello

In 1992, in a small house in S.João do Estoril, near Lisbon, José Côrte-Real set up a micro studio in a 9 m2 room,
equipped with modern recording material and the possibility of recording voices.
Soon after, LaFéria productions, led by Renato Junior, began recording "De Afonso Henriques a Mário Soares"
with Mário Rui Teixeira, leading the composition and arrangements with the collaboration of José Côrte-Real.
During his free time, José began composing a series of instrumentals for a film company in Austria.
but which were never accepted.

Those songs were left aside, untill he opened RealDigital Records and gradually released them with different artists...
Songs that were "tidy" in a drawer for 27 years.
Finally, in 2019, was decided at RealDigital Records to create the artist "Shawn Cabello" inspired by electronic music from the 70s/80s, Kaus Schulze, Michel Polnareff, Moroder (of course), Space, Jean Michel Jarre and Hammer, among many others who were dedicated to the production/composition of music with only synthesizers.
Some time ago we osé found some DAT tapes with even more experimental material and added them to an album edition: "Losten Tapes".
(Special thanks to DJ Rui Almeida for providing the DAT recorder for conversion into .WAV format)
Although the original bet was to "€uropa", it was "Losten Tapes", another song from the same batch that was composed during the same time that has had the most airplay on Spotify.
