JOSÉ CÔRTE-REAL
José Côrte-Real, with 10 recorded albums, was a DJ in the 70s in Portugal, worked in Austria, Germany and Sweden.
The music he played that made him popular was R'n'B/Funk and Jazz/Swing.
He worked on several national and local radio stations as a Presenter and Program Producer.
In 91 he formed his first R'n'B band "Funk Yourself".
With songs composed that were later released on two CDs.
In 92 he released his first solo album "1492-1992" later renamed "Columbus and the Côrte-Real", in the Jazz Fusion, Instrumental style.
In 96 he opened his own studio and produced his first CD which reached platinum level, it was for João, Pedro Pais, debut album.
Where he collaborated in production and arrangements.
He also worked on the production and composition of music for theater or TV programs for Laféria productions.
Some of his songs were released on CDs in Germany and Japan.
He owns the label RealDigital Records.
He is also a composer and producer of other projects linked to the label.
